The Grand Council Treaty #3 National Assembly is officially underway after a Ceremony yesterday marking the Anniversary of the signing of the Treaty.
Members will address a number of issues including Health Care, Education, Policing, Child Care and Revenue Sharing initiatives.
Chief Arnold Gardner says they will draft resolutions that will eventually be presented to the Federal Government and he is confident some headway will be made.
Gardner notes Delegates are expected to approve and Eagle Lake resolution lobbying the Government for funding for a Dialysis Unit at the Dryden Hospital.
The Conference wraps up Wednesday.
