Four members of the Treaty 3 Police Service have been awarded Diamond Jubilee Medals.
The 4 recipients are Constable Mitchell Boulette, Constable Justin Booth, Retired Chief of Police Brian Rupert, and the late Mr. Joe Red Thunderboy.
Constable Booth says the award means a lot and is grateful to have the opportunities he has.
Constable Boulette says the award came as a complete surprise to him.
3 officers were also presented with Provincial Police Commissioner’s Letters of Appreciation, and 6 officers received their Long Service Medals for 20 years of service.
The awards ceremony was held in Kenora yesterday.
