A fastball team from the Treaty #3 competed at the Canadian Native Fastball Championships in Headingly, Manitoba over the long weekend.
The Treaty #3 Rebels lost their opener, then rattled off three straight wins before being eliminated by a team called the Golden Hawks.
The Peguis Redmen, from Manitoba, beat the Ontario Smoke in the final to claim the championship.
