Treaty #3 Using Taser Guns

Treaty Three Police have become one of the first Police forces in
Northwestern Ontario to arm its officers with taser guns.
The Service has purchased 9-taser guns and trained its Sergeants to
use them.
Chief Brian Rupert says tasers provide a less lethal option to guns
and in some cases are more effective than other weapons.
Rupert adds Treaty 3 is only the second aboriginal police force in
Canada using them right now, but he expects more will follow.
