The booming mining industry in northwestern Ontario will be the focus of a conference being sponsored in part by Grand Council Treaty #3.
The focus of the conference will be working with aborginal communities in the region.
The keynote speakers tomorrow include Grand Chief of Treaty Three, Arnold Gardner and Canadian Arrow Mines, which is developing a nickle mine between Kenora and Dryden.
The Ministry of Northern Development and Mines is also one of the sponsors of the conference taking place in Kenora.
