Treaty Three Police Involved In Rapid Testing

A new regional pilot project involving rapid tests for COVID-19 is being carried out.

It involves officers from the Treaty Three Police Service, the Kenora Chiefs Advisory and the Kenora Access Centre.

The rapid tests can be conducted anywhere there is a health professional present and takes about 15 minutes to get a result.

The project will determine if the rapid tests can be used more widely across Ontario.

Chief Kai Liu says the initiative provides an extra layer of protection for Treaty #3 communities.
