The Grand Chief of Treaty Three says he’s looking for immediate action and a partnership to further the priorities of First Nations citizens in northwestern Ontario.
Francis Kavanaugh says now that Justin Trudeau and the Liberal party have been re-elected that he looks forward to strengthening their relationship as full partners to act on climate change, economic prosperity, justice, health, and other issues that people are facing on a daily basis.
Kavanaugh is also congratulating MP-elect Eric Melillo.
He is also thanking Grassy Narrows Chief Rudy Turtle for his campaign as the NDP candidate and outgoing MP Bob Nault for his years of service.
