17 locations in Northwestern Ontario have been selected as tree
plantation sites in order to cut down on green house gas emissions.
The Federal Government’s forest 20/20 program is in its last year,
and Spokesperson Rod Smith says it’s making a big difference in reducing
air pollution.
Over 1,200 hectares of private land across the Province will
have 2-million trees planted on it by the end of this year.
