For the first time this season, a member of the Dryden GM Ice Dogs has been named SIJHL Player of the Week.
Captain Trey Palermo received the honour after recording points in all four games the Ice Dogs played last week.
The 20-year-old finished with 4-goals and 3-assists in three wins.
Palermo has 29-points in 24-games this year.
A veteran of 114 SIJHL games, Palermo is well on pace to set single-season personal best totals in goals, assists and points.
In his career, he has 32-tallies, 71-helpers and 103-points.
Red Lake Miners forward Shaye Sommerfeld also received consideration.
