Trillium Foundation Funding (Sioux Lookout) #2

16 Northwestern Ontario community groups are sharing 652-

thousand dollars in Ontario Trillium Foundation funding.

65-thousand dollars will be used to offer a youth led

gardening, greenhouse and compositng program in Shoal Lake.

Regional Manager Maureen Brophy says the Anishinawbe-

Gamik Friendship Centre will see 100-thousand dollars over

2 years.

Ear Falls received 15-thousand dollars to purchase

fitness equipment that will help increase the number of

phycially fit senior citizens and students in the area.

Atikokan will utilize 25-thousand dollars to equip the

municipalities museum and improve exhibition space.
