Trophy Deer Case Concludes

The highly publicized trophy deer case has finally wrapped up.
Samuel Stroughter of Louisiana has been fined $1,000 for abandoning the illegally killed animal North of Dryden last November.
Earlier this year, his son Gary Stroughter was fined $4,000 and banned from hunting in Ontario for 2 years for killing the deer.

Although the MNR didn’t measure the official size of the antlers, some hunters claim its close to a world record.
