TSB investigating a plane crash in Deer Lake

The Transportation Safety Board has sent two investigators to Deer Lake in northwestern Ontario, following an accident involving an air ambulance.

The TSB says around 1:30 this (Friday) morning, a small plane operated by Skycare Air Ambulance, overran the runway at the Deer Lake airport.

There were no injuries reported, but the aircraft suffered significant damage.

Deer Lake is located about 320 kilometers northwest of Kenora.
