TSB Investigating Plane Incident On Grid Lake

Two occupants of an airplane are safe and sound after developing engine problems in an area between Atikokan and Ignace.
The OPP say they were notified about the incident just before noon yesterday.
Police say pilot of the 185 Cessna Floatplane radioed that they encountered engine problems and they made an emergency landing on Grid Lake.
An OPP helicopter which was doing a search for a missing man in the Thunder Bay area was re-deployed and located the duo a short time later.
They were transported to Ignace and neither suffered any injuries.
The Transportation Safety Board is now investigating.
