Twinning of Trans-Canada

Many are calling on the Federal and Provincial Governments to agree on a plan to twin the Trans-Canda Highway across Ontario.
The KDMA Conference earlier this month passed a similar resolution but Staff Sgt. Bob Beatty, the Highway Safety Specialist for the Northwest Region says there is a lot more to consider than just adding more lanes.
While the Province may add more passing lanes in the North, few expect to ever see the Highway twinned.
