The Dryden Ice Dogs have pulled the trigger on a couple of deals.
The club has traded 20-year-old Liam Walker to the Notre Dame Hounds of
the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League for 18-year-old defenceman Alex McQuarrie and
18-year-old forward Elliott Haines.
Dryden has also traded Jeff Hanke to Winkler of the Manitoba Junior League for
forward Kelsey Mahoney.
Mahoney recorded 4 goals and 9 points for Winkler this season.
McQuarrie, a resident of Fort Frances, had a pair of points for Notre
Dame, while Haines had 3 goals and an assist.
The Ice Dogs give up Walker, the club’s leading scorer with 35 points.
All three players are expected to be in the line-up this weekend at
home against Marathon.
