Two people are now reported dead in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 17 about 25 kilometres east of Nipigon.
The crash involving a passenger vehicle and a transport occurred last Tuesday around 2:51 pm.
Provincial Police say 61-year-old Deborah Mills was pronounced dead at the scene.
Paul Ayers was transported to hospital with critical injuries but the 48-year-old succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the tractor-trailer unit was also taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.
The hometowns of the victims have not been released.
OPP continue to investigate.
