Two Feathers Forest Products Receives Funding

The Two Feathers Forest products initiative has received more Government funding.
The Community Adjustment Fund has provided Eagle Lake First Nation with $829,000 for the development of a wood processing plant.
Pikangikum First Nation has been handed $691,000 to construct a training and education facility.
The project involves Wabigoon Lake, Eagle Lake and Pikangikum First Nation’s as well as Red Lake and Finland based Wood Tech.
Kenora MP Greg Rickford made the announcement Thursday.
Rickford will be a guest on CKDR’s ‘Around the Riding’ Friday, taking your calls from 9-10.
