Lasting memories to end a high school football career for two members of the Dryden Eagles.
Taylor McLarty and Bruce Anderson were recently selected to play in the Winnipeg High School Senior Bowl, showcasing the top graduating players in the league.
Anderson was selected as a captain for his All-Star team and says the appointment came as a complete surprise.
He says it means a lot, especially since it came from his fellow teammates.
Anderson called the experience an amazing opportunity and the usual Wide Receiver started in the backfield as a fullback.
He says he always does whatever he’s asked to do and notes he had a lot of fun in that position.
Anderson adds it was an honour to represent Dryden High School at the game and it’s been a great run with the Dryden Falcons and Eagles football programs.
He calls the experience a “bookend to his career”.
