Two Hunters Fined for Illegal Hunting

Two hunters have been fined for illegal moose hunting on Dinworic Lake near Dryden.
Terry Huckell of Dryden has been ordered to pay $5,000 and has been banned from hunting for 2-years for illegally hunting a cow and bull moose, making a false statement to a conservation officer and shooting a moose from a power boat.
John Cawker of Minnesota has been fined $500 for shooting a moose from a power boat.
The charges stem from a hunting trip last October.
