Two Main Topics To Be Discussed This Weekend

The pressure is on to establish a Framework agreement with the Ontario Coalition of Aboriginal Peoples and the Province.
Wabigoon based OCAP President Brad Maggrah says it’s one of the topics he will bring up at their Annual General Assembly on Sunday.
Maggrah says they want to establish a strong relationship with the Ontario Government and make sure both sides are working together.
He adds the off-reserve development is another key issue.
Maggrah says off-reserve aboriginals need to be more involved in economic development opportunities, especially in the mining sector.
