Two basketball teams representing Treaty Three have won medals at the 3rd Annual Ontario Native Basketball Invitational in Sault Ste. Marie.
The Warriors Girls team won the gold medal taking down last year’s champion, Team Flight 61-39 in the final.
The Treaty Three girls were undefeated in four games at the tournament.
On the Boys side, the Warriors won all four of their round-robin games.
The Treaty Three squad ended up earning a silver medal after losing 56-33 to the Jumpball Player Development team.
A third team was brought to the tournament this year, and Swish Nish development team finished the 12 team tournament with a record of two wins and two losses, placing 7th overall.
