Two people arrested in Dryden for drug trafficking

Two people have been arrested on drug charges following a routine traffic stop.

A vehicle was stopped on Highway 17 in the City of Dryden Wednesday afternoon around 4:30.

During the investigation police seized what they believed to be cocaine and an assortment of pills.

Other items associated with drug trafficking were found.

A 61 year old man and a 37 year old woman, both from Dryden face drug trafficking charges.

They remain in custody and will appear in Kenora Court on Friday to face the charges.
