It wasn’t expected, but Saskatchewan now has a partner to help it learn more about the so-called “liberation therapy” for multiple sclerosis.
Manitoba will help with clinical trials, by contributing $5-
million to run the trials seeking to find out if the M-S
therapy really works.
That would match the $5-million pledged by Saskatchewan
last year to research the procedure.
The “liberation therapy” is the same treatment Dryden’s Al Neill is looking to get.
A fundraising auction is being held for Neill on Saturday at the Fairgrounds.
The event is completely sold-out.
