Two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision shortly after 1 o’clock Saturday afternoon, on Highway 17 between Vermilion Bay and Kenora.
No life-threatening injuries have been reported, according to Provincial Constable Darryl Clark, but two people were transported to hospital with injuries.
A Ford F-150 and a Volkswagen Jetta traveling opposite directions on the highway collided right in front of Redden’s Camp.
Traffic was backed up in the east-bound lane shortly after the collision occurred, but resumed right away.
An investigation is ongoing.
