Two Young Quebec Residents Die In Highway 17 Crash

Two teens from Quebec have been identified as the victims of a two vehicle crash east of Marathon early Tuesday morning.

Provincial Police say a westbound Pontiac Sun Fire, crossed the centre line colliding with a Ford Escape near the Black River Bridge.

The 18-year-old and 19-year-old were pronounced dead at the scene, while three others were transported to hospital with minor injuries.

The TransCanada Highway was closed for eight hours as a result.
