U.S. President to arrive in Canada Thursday night

President of the United States Joe Biden arrives in Canada Thursday evening for his first official overnight visit since being elected in January 2021.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says meetings are planned on a number of issues, “Of course, we will be talking about China but the central theme of our conversations will be about jobs and growth, critical minerals and fighting climate change and continuing to build an economy across our continent that works for all of our citizens.”

Biden will visit Canada on March 23 and 24th, with most of his time to be spent in Ottawa.

His schedule on Friday afternoon includes an address to Parliament.
