This is the last week of operation for the Northwest Recycle Association and the future of recyling in the region appears uncertain.
The City of Dryden has been a leader in trying to find an alternative for communities which are mandated to recycle.
Dryden City Engineer Brad Johns says council will examine the issue tonight but he admits time is running out.
Johns says two companies did answer calls for tenders.
However, he says there will likely be no blue box pickup in July with the program resuming in August.
