The Superior International Junior Hockey League is now on its holiday and COVID-19 shutdown break.
The final game was played Wednesday in the Lakehead with the Thunder Bay Under-18 Kings downing the Thunder Bay Under-16 Kings 6-2.
Josh Lehto led the way with 2 goals while Jack Cook, Johnny McCollum, Colton Crysler and Mike Sheare adding singles.
Keenan Marks stopped 22 shots for the victory.
Kaden Goodwin and Brady Butvin replied for the Under-16 Kings.
The regular season is set to resume on January 11.
