UNICEF Lashes Out At Child Atrocities

A sad reality of war and other conflicts is that innocent children are often the unwitting victims, and according one United Nations agency, 2017 was no different.

UNICEF claims this year, children in conflict zones around the world have come under attack at a shocking scale by groups that it suggests have flouted international law.

Canadian CEO David Morley, asserts that “millions of kids are living through some of the most difficult, dangerous and horrific crises of our lifetime.”

UNICEF states children have become frontline targets, used as human shields, killed, maimed and recruited to fight.

It’s calling on all parties to immediately end violations against children and the targeting of schools and hospitals.
