Unifor has made a generous donation of two thousand dollars to the Hoshizaki House Dryden District Shelter.
This is a part of a 144 thousand dollar donation that is going to similar organizations across Canada.
It is said to be in recognition to International Women’s Day that was earlier in the week.
Unifor National President Jerry Dias says the donation will support the incredible work the staff at the facilities do on a daily basis.
Dias also says violence in women against Canada is a serious and pervasive problem.
