Municipal Councils in the Kenora District are being urged to lobby the Province to allow Unincorporated members to sit on the Northwestern Health Unit Board.
However, the call for support has only been answered by Red Lake Council.
Bill Blower is President of the Unincorporated Ratepayers Association and he says they just want a voice at the table.
Blower says $13 million has been spent by the Unincorporated areas on the operation of the Health Unit, with no representation to show for it.
Blower claims there are 5 empty seats that can be filled.
Dryden Council has not endorsed the proposal.
