Union Gas Looking At Rate Reduction

Some relief is in store for homeowners who heat with natural gas.
Union Gas is applying to the Ontario Energy Board for a rate reduction.
Spokesperson Andrea Stass says if approved the new rates will go into effect October 1st.
The price of natural gas is expected to fall by about 5% for customers in northern Ontario.
Stass says the average homeowner should notice about a $50 drop in their gas bills.
