Union Gas Rate Change

The cost of natural gas is coming down, but Union Gas customers in Northwestern Ontario may still see an increase on their bills.
The Ontario Energy Board has approved rate changes, with a 3.3-cent drop in this Region.
However, the Board says customers who purchase natural gas directly from Union may see their bills go up $4-$7 over the next year.
That’s because of the price difference for natural gas paid by Union Gas over the last three months and the price it expects to pay in the next quarter.
The rate change will be reflected starting on October first.
