Union Gas rates go down

Even though it just increased its rates in January, Union Gas is asking the Ontario Energy Board for a decrease in natural gas prices for the second quarter of 2006.

Andrea Stass is a spokesperson for the company and says the decrease is a reflection of the warmer weather the country has experienced this winter.

N053 Q: …Northern Ontario. (11 secs.)

Stass says the new rates will come into effect on April 1st, if the Ontario Energy board approves their application.
