Union of Ontario Indians Pushing for Big Turnout

The Union of Ontario Indians wants the province’s 100-thousand eligible First Nations voters to make their voices heard on October 14th.
The group says the aboriginal vote can make a difference in at least 10 federal riding’s on election day.
Grand Council Chief John Beaucage says the Union will not be telling First Nations members how to vote.
The Union says it’s gathering the views of aboriginal issues from all of Ontario’s federal candidates and will post them on the website www.firstpeoplesvote.com.
