Unite the Right Applauded Locally

The President of the Alliance Riding Association in Kenora-Rainy River thinks uniting the right with the Conservatives should improve their chances of unseating Liberal MP Bob Nault.

Brian Williams believes more Tories will come out of the wood work and vote for a Unified party.

Williams says both Associations will meet next month to set the foundation in the riding, however some issues still need to be cleared up.

The Kenora and Rainy River Districts could split if Paul Martin goes ahead with Legislation to reconfigure Riding boundaries.

The new Conservative Party of Canada registered with Elections Canada yesterday.
