One of the more interesting races for the October municipal election is in Ignace.
The final unofficial list for Mayor includes a number of high profile candidates.
Incumbent Lee Kennard is being challenged by Councillor Chicki Pesola as well as Donald Cunningham and Nelson Taddeo.
There are four spots open for Council.
John Taddeo and Shaun Defeo are seeking re-election.
They are joined by Greg Waldock, David Penney, Martin Hoey, Debbie Hart, Janet Lett, Chantelle Tucker and Penny Lucas.
