All six Councillors in Sioux Lookout are seeking re-election.
The final list of candidates for the October municipal election is expected to be verified on Monday.
Cal Southall, Joyce Timpson, Steven Forbes, John Bath, Donald Fenelon and Yolaine Kirlew are all looking to retain their seat.
Fenelon, in fact, is guaranteed a spot as he is the only candidate in the running to represent Hudson.
They are being challenged by Ronald Bird, Darlene Angeconeb, Debbie Baker, Joe Cassidy and Cory Lago.
Mayor Doug Lawrance is seeking a second term and he’s being challenged by former Mayor Dennis Leney as well as Jason Bailey.
