Government and Thunder Bay Hospital officials are scrambling to investigate a report that a badly decomposed miscarried fetus was sent to its grieving parents in the mail.
The North Caribou Lake First Nation says the remains were in a Post Office for a week after the Hospital allegedly mailed it to the wrong address.
Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre officials say they’re investigating.
Health Minister George Smitherman has also pledged to look into the issue.
