The Trans-Canada Highway is now open in both directions.
Provincial Police say a vehicle has been removed from the road and traffic is alternating at this time.
Around 4 a.m. this morning a collision west of Joyce Lake closed Highway 17 at Vermilion Bay to the Highway 71 junction.
OPP say no injuries have been reported but stress road conditions aren’t favourable for travel.
