Fire crews did not get much help last night as they continue to battle a stubborn blaze just north of Dryden.
Dave Jackson, Ministry of Natural Resources Spokesperson says the blaze in the Rugby Lake-Amesdale area has consumed over 1200-hectares so far.
The fire was fairly active last night, and crews expect the same today.
Jackson says several homes north of Henderson Loop remain evacuated, however the MNR will reassess the situation later this afternoon.
Loren Lake Access road, and Highway 665 from Henderson North Loop to Richan road remain closed.
Meantime, the fire situation in Ignace has improved dramatically.
The blaze that forced the temporary evacuation of several homes Friday night has been contained.
