Update On Talks Expected

The provincial government is expected to issue a statement today to update the progress of talks surrounding the public servants strike.
Both sides resumed talks one week ago but with a media blackout in place, it is not clear how those talks are going.
The strike began March 13th with provincial employees demanding higher wages, improved benefits and job security.
There are about four thousand public servants in the Northwest.
