Upgrades to Ignace Water Supply

The Provincial and Federal Governments have teamed up to inject
$10-million into upgrading the Igance water supply.
Kenora MP Roger Valley says the funding will allow the Township to
bring the system into compliance with strict new Provincial water standards.
The community will connect to a new surface water source as well as
install new treatment equipment.
The upgrades will improve the water quality for some 660 homeowners.
Ignace is still on the hook for $5 million something Valley says he will work with the community to address.
