Residents in the Dryden and Vermilion Bay area are being urged to test
their well water for uranium if that haven’t done so yet.
The Northwestern Health Unit has received nearly 300-water samples
from rural residents and about a quarter of wells tested exceed the
acceptable amount of uranium content.
Spokesperson Bill Limerick says that is cause for concern.
