The search for a missing Big Trout Lake First Nation youth is being ramped up in Thunder Bay.
Volunteers, Thunder Bay police, and now an OPP dive team continue the urgent search for Josiah Begg.
He was last seen on May 6th, and police are asking Thunder Bay residents to check yards, sheds, boats and trailers for any sign of him.
They say they’ve begun observing the City from a helicopter, looking for evidence of the missing teen, while provincial police are searching the McIntyre River.
There’s been a push to expand the investigation as Nishnawbe Aski Nation officials have criticized police for not devoting more resources to the search when it first began.
