A mass outage is affecting departing flights out of the US.
A computer outage is to blame that has caused thousands of cancellations and delays of flights across the states.
So far close to four thousand planes have been delayed, with under a thousand cancelled.
It’s not been made clear what caused the outage if it was a cyber attack or a software malfunction.
Only commercial flights have been delayed or cancelled by the outage, while US military and medical flights aren’t affected.
