V Bay Fire

A tense afternoon Saturday for some residents of Vermilion Bay.
Wind whipped flames raced along the CP Rail line near the Water
treatment plant, forcing crews from the Machin & Oxdrift Fire Departments
into action.
They were assisted by an MNR Water Bomber in their efforts to deal with
the stubborn blaze.
Other than a couple of sheds, there appears to have been minimal
property damage.
