Vaccination Offered to Help Curb Cervial Cancer

A new Provincial HPV vaccination program will extend into this area.
The McGuinty Government will be doling out $117-million over
the next 3 years to vaccinate over 80,000 young female teens.
The Region’s Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Pete Sarsfield says
the shot will help prevent many women from getting cervical cancer.
Sarsfield says the program will be rolled out through the schools and
will be available at doctors offices.
