Vale Closing Mine In Sudbury

Operations at a Sudbury nickel mine are being suspended at the
end of the year.
Vale, which operates the Frood site, says it is closing the mine
due to market volatility, declining metal prices and falling demand
for the product.
The price of nickel has dropped 17% this year and 30% since 2011.
Vale says the closure will not lead to any job losses.
