Happy Valentines Day!!
Eagle River resident volunteers are showing their love with their latest display welcoming you to the community. Thanks again to the volunteers for showing their community spirit and an extra shout-out to Connie Calvert who sent in the following description and pictures of their love creations!
I”ll bet you were waiting for an update.
Yes our volunteers stepped up to the plate!
Through piercing winds and hoards of snow,
We managed to come up with a red themed show.
Linda went to Yuma but left her art.
Connie zhushed up the area around it, so that was a start.
Barb and Warren’s snowmen add to the look,
Woodworking talent is what they took.
Debbie created this ‘heartfelt’ delight.
And yes, it does light up at night.
Donna brought this beauty to fruition,
Hearts and a pretty bow bring it recognition.
Charn, Zane and Zoe created this pink and red tree,
Hearts, sweet stuffies and emojis for all to see.
Mandy, Todd and Jett’s tree of red hearts and gold,
True Valentines colours, truth be told!
Barb, Carm and Connie revamped the ‘Jaeger trees’ with cupids, ribbons and a cute bear all cuddled in,
So adorbs you just want to snuggle him.
